Omphalos Performance Project debuted in June 2018 with Samuel Beckett’s Happy Days, a work hailed as one of the great landmarks of mid-century existentialist theater. This timely, all new production was conceived and directed by Omphalos’ founding Artistic Director, Kosta Demos, featuring performances by AndreaWhitfield and Daniel Boudreau, with sets by Oliver Bouchier, and sound design by George Hicks.
“Only Beckett could have written this play: a hilarious account of extinction, a short sonata for the dead, scored for female voice and male mumble.” -Sunday Times (UK)
“...it shimmers with beauty. (Beckett) has refined his theater into something that parallels the elusiveness and overtones of music.” - New York Times
